Pine Beach Park is
Connection with the outdoors: You are connected to a larger group of residents within and near the Pine Beach area who enjoy all the beauty of the beach.
For kids: The playground and the beach are very convenient. Lots of space to play (An adult should be at the playground at all times with children or youth.)
Part ownership for landowners: The park is owned via joint tenancy in title by all property owners located within the defined Pine Beach neighborhood and has to have a running Association and be operated by a volunteer Board executive on a non-profit basis. Access requires membership. This also requires each member to volunteer for maintenance
Connecting with your neighbours: The association keeps members in touch with activities, events and membership maintenance days.
Pine Beach relies on volunteers for all aspects of the park operation. All of our executive council members are unpaid volunteers that spend between 5-20 hours a month each working on making sure that the park is operating efficiently.
We also need volunteers for event coordination, park maintenance and neighbourhood watch activities. For many of our activities, we offer volunteer hours for students looking to complete their requirements for their graduation. We also offer corporate and group volunteer hours. Typically these activities include site organization, clean ups, plantings, equipment maintenance, landscaping, etc.
